About the Students

Erik Pollock

As the Restaurant Manager, Erik oversees each member in their roles and makes sure everything is going well and according to plan. When Erik is not at school, he loves watching hockey games and works as a front of house supervisor at the Big Rig Restaurant.

Corrianna Richardson

As the Beverage Manager, Corrianna will oversee the bar service throughout the event and have the special task of creating the signature Cocktails and Mocktails of the evening. Corrianna loves spending time with her 2 dogs Zeus and Delilah and works downtown serving at the Royal Oak.

Sara Loyst

As the Finance Manager, Sara forecasts how much money the event will make and budgets accordingly. In the future, Sara plans to be a sales and events coordinator hopefully specializing in weddings. In her off time, she enjoys going to the gym with her husband and cuddling her cats.

Nina Rupert

As one of the Marketing Managers, Nina reaches out to companies for silent auction items, designs layouts and manages the event's Instagram page. When she is not studying, Nina is a Guest Service Agent at the Alt Hotel Ottawa and lending a hand around Ottawa.

Andrew Miller

As the Food Production Manager, Andrew communicates with the Culinary Management program planning the evening's menu and will oversee the dishes being served. Andrew is a bartender at the Algonquin College Observatory and the Golf and Hunt Club but loves anything related to sports. 

Jessica Whaley

As one of the Marketing Managers and Manager of Decor, Jessica designs the posters for the social media platforms, event tickets, and manages the Facebook page and website. She also organizes the decoration which will be on display at the event. Besides school, Jessica works as a Guest Service Agent at Les Suites Hotel Ottawa and plans where she wants to travel to next.
